• Wash the pots with a mixture of water and vinegar every month as in proportion of 1 teaspoon vinegar : 1 cup of water

• Application of water-repellent or to keep them away from damp area. Damp conditions may cause mould and moss growth, which will spoil the surface of the pot, obliterate any colour, firing marks or decoration

• If used as a planter pot, it is advisable to drill holes at the bottom of pot, or place the plant in an inner plastic container to avoid root growth and pressure damage to the pot

• It is best to placing bricks underneath the pot
